Set back, another six weeks.

Wednesday's the day!

Today is the last day, the last day Tanner will have to wear his jaw brace. The day has finally come, and things are looking up for the miracle dog. (:

We drop him off tomorrow, he will go into surgery to get it off, and then we will pick with back up after school is over. Expect lots of pictures!

Fate has brought us this far.

Day 75. 

It's been awhile since I've updated,

Since New Year's Tanner's spirit has truly picked up (maybe a little bit too well,)
We have overcome so many obstacles along the road, and have many more to go, but we made it this far. Nothing can stop us.

He's been able to pick up things, eat soggy puppy kibble, and function as he used to (minus a few things). Just the other week he started back on his "randomly barking mad at mom" phase. He's really using his voice these days, and boy, has his bark gotten deeper, and insanely more annoying. Haha.

Just the other week, walking out onto the agility field with his leash in my hand was felt so reminiscent, for him as well as myself. To think that one day he'll be out here again, doing so much more than we ever dreamed would be capable. He was so lucky, so, so lucky that day, November 7th, 2009. Looking back, the fact he had a chance was bittersweet, now these days, words couldn't describe how thankful I am to have him.
